Yadadri-Bhongir: Yadadri, Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple witnessed heavy rush of the devotees in view of Sankranthi festival. It took about four hours for the devotees to have darshan of the presiding deity.
The devotees were waiting in queues from early morning at Balalayam to have darshan of the Lord. Special pooja progammes were also conducted in the temple on the occasion of Sankrathi festival.
Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal visited the temple and participated in the pooja programmes. Rajagopal said that the Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) wold remain in the history for his effort to develop the temple into a great pilgrimage centre.
He appreciated the Chief Minister for his keen interest on development of Yadadri. The development works of Yadadri Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple should continue without any hurdle, he added.
The former MP recalled that thehe was elected to Lok Sabha first time only after having darshan of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy at Yadadri temple.
Special arrangements were also made by the temple authorities on Yadadri hill shrine in view of the possible rush of devotees on the day of the festival.
