Digital literacy campaign kick-starts in UoH

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of University of Hyderabad kick-started Vittya Saksharata Abhiyan (VISAKA) - a digital financial literacy campaign here on Friday.

Hyderabad: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of University of Hyderabad kick-started Vittya Saksharata Abhiyan (VISAKA) – a digital financial literacy campaign here on Friday.

The 15-member NSS volunteers divided into three groups went around university campus, Gachibowli area and five villages in Tellapur panchayat. Different teams covered malls, markets, small vendors, tea shops located between Ashok Nagar and Gachibowli, apart from five villages that were adopted by the university in Tellapur panchayat.

Students explained how the digital economy would curb irregularities in the present economic scenario. They also distributed pamphlets, which contained diagrammatic presentation of digital economy.
