Displaced villages youth will be trained for jobs: Siddipet Collector

Siddipet: Siddipet Collector, P Venkatrami Reddy said that they will conduct skill development programmes to the youth from displaced villages under Konda Pochamma Sagar to get them placements in private and corporate companies.

Addressing the youth and their parents at Tuniki Bollaram Rehbiliation Colony where the displaced villagers from Bilampuram, Mamidyala and Tanedarupally were shifted, on Wednesday, the Collector said that they were planning the training programme following the directions of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Reddy said the Chief Minister and Finance Minister T Harish Rao were concerned about the future of the youth from these displaced villages. Saying that they would be provided training in corporate institutes, the Collector said that the youth will get the placement orders on the last day of their training.

The training programme, he said, will be conducted for 60-90 days, and the government will bear the expenses of training, lodging and boarding. He also elicited the opinions of the youth and elders from the displaced villagers. The Collector and other officials have a long chat with them. Joint Collector, M Padmakar, Deputy Collector, Mozamil Khan, DRDA (District Rural Development Organisation), Project Director, Ch Gopal Rao and others were present.
