Editor of newspaper arrested for false report on KCR

The editor, Venkateshwar Rao, was arrested for the second time by the police

Hyderabad: The Mailardevpally police arrested the editor of a vernacular daily on charges of publishing a false report on the health status of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

The editor, Venkateshwar Rao, was arrested for the second time by the police. He was earlier arrested by the Jubilee Hills police after a case was registered on the same charges in the Jubilee Hills police station.

K Ashok Chakravarthy, ACP (Rajendranagar) said a case was booked against Rao and three others following a complaint made by a person against the report in the publication.
