Visakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy feels that there are indications that the elections will be held in another four or five months in Andhra Pradesh. He said that they should be prepared for the polls by January 2019 and take up booth-wise programmes from September 17.

Senior leaders, Parliamentary constituency presidents and assembly coordinators attended the meeting during which Jagan discussed the action plan during the run up to the elections.
The campaign entails a 30-day long public outreach programme carried out by Assembly Constituency Coordinators in which the latter will visit at least 50 booths and interact with the public and strengthen the booth committees in the villages. It aims to increase the YSRCP’s reach at grassroot level in all Assembly segments which will be done through the Praja Sankalpa Yatra of Jagan.

Ravali Jagan targets a direct outreach of over 15 lakh people in 30 days all over the State through public meetings and door-to-door campaign. There would be public meetings in the morning to highlight Naidu govenrment’s failures and the evening meetings would highlight the Navaratnalu promises.

Jagan said it was important for the leaders to reach out to the people on a door-to-door basis as the elecitons were fast approaching. All the leaders should spread `Navaratnalu’ to every nook and corner of the State, and the failures of the TDP Government shold also be exposed, he stated.
