Erstwhile Warangal will become number one district: Errabelli

Warangal: Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao expressed confidence that erstwhile Warangal district would reach the top spot in the State in development as the government was planning to set up several industries in the district.

Marking the 6th State Formation Day celebrations, he unfurled the national flag in a simple ceremony at Warangal Rural collectorate here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that both Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Rama Rao were striving to make the State number one in the country. “Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is striving for the welfare of the farmers. The government is implementing several schemes like Rythu Bandhu for the welfare of the farmers. Regulated farming system is also aimed at the development of the farming community,” he explained. Earlier, he paid tributes to the Telangana martyrs at martyrs’ memorial at Adalath centre in Hanamkonda.

Meanwhile, Government Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar hoisted the national flag at the Warangal Urban collector’s office on the occasion of the formation day. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the land had been identified for the construction of 40 Rythu Vedika buildings in the district. They would be constructed at the cost of Rs 20 lakhs, he added.

At Mahabubabad, Minister for Women, Child and Tribal Welfare Satyavathi Rathod has hoisted the national flag. On the occasion, she said that she would strive to see that each acre of the land would get irrigation under one project or the other. “I will also see that the water of the Sitarama project will reach Bayyaram in the district,” she added.

Meanwhile, Bodakunti Venkateswarlu, MLC and Chief Whip in the Legislative Council, who unfurled the tricolour at Jangaon, said that a total of Rs 101 crore were provided to 89,713 farmers under Rythu Bandhu in Jangaon district. “While the works of 3,758 2BHKs were started in the district, 575 of them have been completed so far,” he added.

In Mulugu, Government Whip MS Prabhakar Rao has hoisted the national flag after paying tributes to the Telangana martyrs, and Government Whip in the Council T Bhanuprasad Rao has unfurled the national flag at Bhupalpally.
