With 21 exhibits to see, the Lost Chambers Aquarium at the Atlantis Palm is home to over 250 different species of marine life including Clownfish, Jellyfish, Regal Tang, Piranha, Lobster, Seahorses and sharks.
Visitors here can participate in the daily feeding sessions in the lagoons and exhibits, which are supervised by Atlantis ‘Seakeepers’. Apart from entertainment, there is infotainment as well.

Amid the glittering outlets and vast spaces at the Dubai Mall, the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo illuminates the marvels of the ocean floor and showcases one of the most diverse collections of aquatic life.
Dubai Aquarium’s 270-degree acrylic walkthrough tunnel is 48 metres long, 11 metres of which is under the surface, treating visitors to an exceptional underwater experience.
The Underwater Zoo, located on Level 2, takes visitors through various aquatic environments and individual aquatic displays. Experienced and trained staff members are present throughout the Underwater Zoo to educate and inspire visitors with information about the animals.
Offering a once in a lifetime experience, visitors have the opportunity to swim among sharks and other aquatic animals at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo by participating in public shark dives.
The shark dives bring participants face-to-face with Sand Tiger Sharks, Reef Sharks, Leopard Sharks, Tawny Nurse Sharks, Giant Groupers, Stingrays etc. Qualified dive masters and instructors from Al Boom Diving will be present throughout the diving experience.
For those, who cannot swim, there is the Cage Snorkeling Experience, where visitors can jump into the 10 million litre tank without diving equipment. No experience is necessary and it is available for participants of 6 years and older. Visitors just need to put on snorkeling gear and dive into the secure cage in the aquarium.
The Shark Scooter experience is like a personal underwater submarine, allowing users to venture throughout the main aquarium tank. Children as young as 10 years can take part in this close-encounter experience. There is also the Glass-Bottom Boat Ride over the surface of the aquarium.
Once you get mesmerised with marine life, walk into the Dubai Safari, home to the most diverse and largest number of wildlife species in the UAE with 2,500 animals.
Offering the world’s first drive-through crocodile exhibit, it has got UAE’s only drive-through hippo and tiger exhibit. Being home to UAE’s largest troop of baboons, it offers the largest drive-through lion and elephant exhibits in this part of the globe.
Categorised into the Arabian village, Safari village, African village and Asian Village, the park features a wide range of open exhibits. The park’s vision is to provide a safe home to 5,000 animals by 2020.
