Police in Medak arrest two for circulating fake Rs 100 notes

Police has launched a hunt to nab the third accused Abdulla.

Medak: Regode police in Medak district arrested two persons for circulating fake Rs 100 notes in their locality and recovered fake notes with face value of Rs 86,000 from them on Monday.

The accused were identified as Vadithya Dhrma Nayak, a resident of Dosapally Tanda of Regode mandal in Medak district, and Samsuddin Mirza, a native of Nizamabad town.

Producing the accused before media here on Monday, Superintendent of Police, Chandna Deepthi said that the accused Dharama Nayak and Mirza went to Kolkatta to exchange Rs 50,000 original notes for Rs 90,000 from one Abdul aka Valiulla in Kolkatta on September 16.

While they were going to Maharstra to exchange the fake notes during a Jathara, Regode police nabbed them. The SP appreciated the Regode police for cracking the fake notes case.
