Hyderabad: The Keesara police on Tuesday arrested a father-son duo on charges of creating fake land documents for a piece of land and selling it.
The arrested were N Pandu Yadav (71) and N Veerender Yadav, all residents of Dammaiguda in Kapra. According to the Keesara police, Sarojini Bai purchased a piece of land at Rampally village from Ram Mohan Rao more than five decades ago and after her passing away a decade ago, her sons — Venkata Satyanarayana and Balakrishna Rao — were taking care of the land.
Two months ago, Sathyanarayana obtained a Non-Encumbrance certificate from the Keesara Sub-Registration office and found that Pandu Yadav, Veerendra Yadav, Uma Sridhar and others allegedly creaked fake documents in the name of Sarojini and further sold it to one Sunitha Swain. The duo was produced before the court which further remanded them in judicial custody.
