Filmmaker’s parents felicitated in Mancherial

Srinivas and Dhanalaxmi, parents of Devarakonda Vikas being felicitated by residents of Reddy Colony in Mancherial.

Mancherial: Srinivas and Dhanalaxmi, parents of Devarakonda Vikas, who shot to fame for his association with the critically acclaimed film Mistake-Ek Galti were felicitated by residents of Reddy Colony in Mancherial on Wednesday.

Boda Dharmender, one of the residents, said that Vikas brought recognition to the district by being a part of the bi-lingual movie which was released recently and won plaudits for its narration. He recollected that Vikas had schooled in Seven Hills High School and Carmel Convent High School before pursuing higher education in Hyderabad.

Vikas is currently residing in New Zealand. He was the director of photography and editor of the film, which was made in both in English and Hindi languages. Santosh Tukkapuram was the director of the movie.

Gogula Ravinder Reddy, Md Khazamiya, Manohar Reddy, Krishna, Gadarla Satish, Ashok Teja, Nelli Prabhakar and many others were present.
