First-aid centre set up at Rythu Bandhu venue in Sangareddy

A woman, who was brought in a vehicle to collect her cheque and passbook, turned emotional while receiving it from Andole MLA P Babumohan and Collector Vasam Venkateshwarlu.

Sangareddy: Following the directions of the district Collector Vasam Venkateshwarlu, the Health Department has arranged first-aid centre at Budhera village during Rythu Bandhu cheque distribution programme on Tuesday.

ANM’s posted at the centre distributed ORS pockets to farmers, who arrived to collect their cheques and pattadar passbooks from the hands of Collector Venkateshwarlu and Andole MLA P Babumohan.

The Collector said that they have been serving drinking water, buttermilk, ragi gruel and also lunch at most of the places with the help of philanthropists and kind-hearted public representatives.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector called upon the farmers to utilise the amount given by the government to get best yield. He said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao conceived the idea to make the farming a profitable profession. Early in the morning, Collector Venkateshwarlu, and  MLA Chintha Prbahkar presented cheques to bedridden farmers at Tallapally and other villages near Sangareddy town.
