Hyderabad: The State government on Saturday issued orders allotting five more acres of land in survey no 325 of Budvel village of Ranga Reddy district to the Raja Bahadur Venkatram Reddy Educational Society for the expansion of Reddy Hostels which celebrated its centenary recently.
This is in addition to the ten acres of land already allotted to the society by the State. Ranga Reddy District Collector was directed to facilitate advance possession of the five-acre land pending the submission of the regular alienation proposals. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who announced the sanction of the land at the centenary celebrations, wanted the new hostel complex to emerge as an education centre offering advanced professional courses.
Decks cleared for e-sale of Bandlaguda flats
Hyderabad: Minister Housing A Indra Karan Reddy on Saturday launched e-sale of Rajiv Swagruha flats for the government employees. In all, some 3,710 flats were made available for online allotment on a first come, first served basis.
In all, 2,240 flats at Bandlaguda and 1,770 at Pocharam will be put for online allotment. The Bandlaguda flats (finished ones) that are ready for occupation were priced at Rs 1,900 per sq ft while the unfinished ones were priced at Rs 1,700 per sq ft.
Those located at Pocharam were priced at Rs 1,700 per sq ft (finished ones) and Rs 1,500 per sq ft (unfinished). The buyers would have to bear the registration charges as well as the GST.
Those get the allotment of the flats should pay 20 per cent of the cost towards the first installment (within 30 days from the date of payment of confirmation advance) and 80 per cent of the cost towards the second installment within 45 days from the date of payment of the first installment.
The prospective buyers are requested to visit the townships of Bandlaguda and Pocharam for selecting the flat of their choice and get themselves satisfied with the works and their quality. All the flats were built before 2011.
