Four-day Apollo Cancer Conclave kicks off in Hyderabad

Over 3,700 delegates from India and abroad are attending the conference to deliberate on latest treatment modalities

Hyderabad: The four-day Apollo Cancer Conclave and Cancer CI-2020, hosted by Apollo Cancer Institutes and CURE Foundation India, was inaugurated by Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday.

Over 3,700 delegates from India and abroad are attending the conference to deliberate on latest treatment modalities and help the doctors practice them for the benefit of the patients.

The international conference also features 600 acknowledged authorities in various specialties of cancer from across the globe as faculty, including 60 from abroad. It also features discussions on latest developments in cancer cure including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and adaptive intelligence in radiotherapy planning and innovations in radiotherapy.

Health Minister Etela Rajender, Apollo Hospitals Vice Chairperson Preetha Reddy, Joint Managing Director Dr Sangita Reddy, Director of Apollo Cancer Institutes Dr P Vijay Anand Reddy, top oncologists including Dr Dattatreyudu Nori were present.
