Four suspected poachers detained in Medak

Medak: Medak Forest officials detained four persons as they were caught suspiciously moving inside the Pocharam Wild Life Sanctuary in Medak district in the early hours of Tuesday. Speaking to Telangana Today, Divisional Forest Officer M Padmajarani said that they will conduct patrolling on every Amavasya.

During a regular patrolling by forest staff at 4 am on Tuesday, the DFO said that they have caught four persons, who were possessing four torch lights that were normally used for hunting wild-animals, inside the Sanctuary.

Though the four persons, who were natives of Hyderabad said that they lost the way on their way to Kamareddy and entered the forest area mistakenly, Padmajarani said that they have detained as they were caught inside the Sanctuary at the uneven time. They were produced before a court on Tuesday. The DFO has refused to disclose the names of the detained.
