Hyderabad: The Asifnagar police arrested a three-member gang on charges of threatening a businessman here late night on Friday. Two swords were seized from them.

The arrested persons were identified as Zaid Bin Naser alias Zahed, 29, a salesman from Attapur; Mohammed Ali, 22, a salesman from Rajendranagar and Khaja Ghouse Uddin, 29, an auto-rickshaw driver from Rajendranagar. Two suspects, Abdullah Chawoosh and Mohammed, were absconding.

A complaint was lodged by one businessman named Mohammed Nadeem from Murad Nagar with the Asifnagar police alleging that the gang had come to his home armed with weapons and threatened him. Police suspect previous enmity led to the incident.
