Hyderabad: Sikki Reddy and Meghana Jakkampudi outclassed Maldives’ Neela Ahmed Najeeb and Maisa Fathuhulla Ismail 21-11, 21-10 in 13th South Asian Games (SAG) in Pokhara, Nepal, on Tuesday.

The only setback for India was the walkover given by the husband-wife duo of Sumeeth Reddy and Sikki Reddy, who conceded the match with the former falling ill in the mixed doubles event.

In women’s singles, rising star Gayatri Gopichand blew away Nepal’s Nangzal Tamang 21-9, 21-14 to enter the last eight.
