Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy has directed the Lodha Constructions to submit a report within 10 days on the allegations levelled by residents of Lodha Bellezza and Meridian Apartments, Kukatpally.

Lodha Group had constructed residential apartments – Bellezza and Meridian towers at Phase IV in Kukatpally.

However, buyers of the project, including Tollywood film actor Jagapathi Babu on Thursday accused the construction company of failing to provide amenities as assured in the plans. Few of them have approached the court also in this regard, GHMC officials said.

Following the allegations from the property buyers, B. Janardhan Reddy held a meeting with them and Lodha Group representatives here on Friday.

During the meeting, the residents informed the Commissioner that the construction company had violated rules and had not provided parking and recreation facilities as per the agreement between the residents and developer.

The Commissioner said as per the building plan approved by the municipal corporation, the developer has to provide parking and other facilities.

He directed the representatives of Lodha Group to respond and clarify to the allegations of the residents at a special meeting to be held on August 29 in GHMC Head Office.

He also instructed the developer to continue the provision of amenities and other facilities to the residents. “All complaints raised by residents should be addressed as per rules and justice should be rendered to them,” Reddy told them.
