Hyderabad: GITAM (Deemed to be University) Hyderabad will hold GITAM Admission Test for admissions into B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch programmes for the academic year 2018-19 from April 11 to 26.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Prof N Siva Prasad, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM, said for admission into B.Arch, candidates have to take both National Aptitude Test in Architecture as well as GAT.
The computer-based online test will be held from April 11 to 26 and candidates can appear for the test on GITAM-Hyderabad campus, Saifabad, Nagole, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad and Warangal centres besides in 48 other centres located across the country. The score of the candidates will be immediately announced on the computer screen and ranks will be announced on April 30.
Applications form can be downloaded from the website or it can be submitted online through www.gitam.edu. The form can also be obtained from selected branches of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank and also from admission office of the varsity. The last date to apply is March 26.
He mentioned that GITAM intends to launch a course in law and MBA in Finance Technology in the next academic year.
Replying to a query, he said about 265 students on Hyderabad campus were selected during campus placement this year so far. About 96 per cent of the eligible candidates got placed in various international and national companies last year.
