Telangana: 1,455 posts sanctioned for tribal welfare colleges

Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday sanctioned 1455 teaching and non-teaching posts in the 22 Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree Colleges.

Of the total, 880 posts are degree college lecturers, 88 lab assistants and 88 office subordinates. The government also sanctioned eight regional coordinators, three posts each for office subordinates, junior assistant, senior assistant and superintendent, two posts each for assistant secretary, deputy secretary and one registrar post for head office of Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society. To this effect, the finance department issued an order sanctioning the posts.

The Tribal Welfare Department has been asked to obtain concurrence of Finance (HRM) Department before initiating measures to fill up the posts sanctioned.
