Senior actor Sai kumar said the Green India Challenge initiated by MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar would instil responsibility in every individual toward the society. The actor along with son Aadi Saikumar planted peepul saplings at their residence marking the former’s birthday.
“We should voluntarily stand to do a good deed, then all things fall in place. Such good acts would bring like-minded individuals under one roof. The truth about Veda is that those who plant trees would not be subjected to punishment in hell (narakam) after death.
‘Sri Varaha Puranam’, too, says that by growing a tree one would give ‘prana vayu’ (oxygen) to three others. So everyone should grow trees and further spread the message,” Sai Kumar added. Sai Kumar’s wife Surekha, daughter Jyothirmayi along with her husband Krishna Phalguna took part in it.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s wife Allu Sneha Reddy planted saplings along with her children at her residence in Jubilee Hills. Accepting the green challenge from Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmitha Konidela, Sneha expressed happiness to be the part of the initiative. Other beings on this earth are as equal as human beings.
Everyone on this planet would live a happy life only if earth is ecologically balanced. And planting trees is the only way. I wish the initiative started by MP Santosh would be successful and turn Telangana State into green pasture,” she added.
Sneha further nominated her husband Allu Arjun, My Home Group director Jupally Meghana Rao and R Singa Reddy to take part in it.
