Nalgonda: Minister for Irrigation and Marketing T Harish Rao will inaugurate several development works in Nalgonda and Yadadri-Bhongir district on Friday.
Harish Rao will inaugurate a new rythu bazar, which has been constructed in 20 guntas of land near Agricultural Market Yard in Nalgonda town by spending Rs 70 lakh.
A rythu bazar, which was constructed on Devarakonda road during earlier TDP government, was demolished as it received poor response from people due to lack of required facilities.
This time, the State government has setup the rythu bazar at a central point with all facilities. With the help of Horticulture Department, officials of Marketing Department have allotted 81 stalls in the bazar to farmers.
He will inspect ongoing works of Mosambi Market at SLBC on the outskirts of Nalgonda town. TRS leaders are making arrangements to take out a rally to welcome Harish Rao from Marriguda by-pass road. Keeping in view the police have made elaborate security arrangements.
Rao is scheduled to inaugurate NABARD godowns at Kanagal. He will lay foundation stone for 33/11 kv sub-station at Gudapur village in Munugode mandal. The Minister will also lay foundation stone for Munugode-Chandur road widening works. Rao will also inaugurate NABARD godowns at Chityal in Nalgonda district and also at Ramannapet, Valigonda, and Alair in Yadadri-Bhongir district.
The Minister for Power G Jagadish Reddy would also accompany Rao during his whirlwind tour to Nalgonda and Yadadri-Bhongir districts on Friday.
