Sangareddy: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao inaugurated a bridge constructed across Chinna Vagu, a stream flows through Patancheru, in Sangareddy district on Monday.
The bridge, built at a cost of Rs 3 crore, will improve the road connectivity from Patancheru to over 40 villages in Jinnaram, Hathnora and Doultabad mandals in district.
Participating in a meeting organised at GMR Function Hall, the Minister said they were committed to improving the infrastructure since they believed that the better infrastructure would have a great impact on the economy and lives of people. The Minister also distributed Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak cheques to 152 people during the meeting.
Appreciating the district administration’s efforts for making revenue records error-free, the Irrigation Minister presented the corrected pattadar passbooks and other land documents to 1,652 farmers from Indresham, Pashmylaram, Chinnakanjarala and Inole villages of Patancheru.
The Minister also lauded Collector Kannan Manickraj’s efforts to issue birth certificates at the doorstep of citizens. Zilla Parisath Chairperson Balamani Murali Yadav Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy and others were present.
