Siddipet: Finance Minister, T Harish Rao has inaugurated the new police station building at Koheda mandal headquarters in Siddipet district on Tuesday. Rao has also inaugurated the 22 CCTV Cameras installed at various important locations in Koheda.
Addressing the people after inaugurating the Police station, Rao has said Telangana government was providing all infrastructure facilities, best technology and vehicles to the Police department to help them discharge their duties properly.
He has called upon the staff of the Police station to create the best environment on the premises of the Police station to make the people visit the Station without any fear. After planting a sapling, Rao has asked the staff to improve the greenery on the premises of the Station. The Police station was built with an estimated cost of Rs one crore in 3,753 square feet area. The new Station was having SI Room, waiting room, reception, women restroom and others.
Commissioner of Police D Joel Davis has instructed the staff to create a friendly environment in the Police station. He has further said that the two more police station buildings in- Akkannapet and Komuravelly-were under-construction in Siddipet district. Zilla Parishad Chairperson, Roja Sharma, MLA, Husnabad, Vodeithala Sathish Kumar, MLC, Ragotham Reddy, ADCP, G Narsimha Reddy, ACP, Husnabad, Mahendar and others were present.
The Finance Minister took part in a host of other programmes under Husnabad Assembly Constituency on Tuesday.
