Haritha Haram hero comes in for praise from Harish Rao

The Minister lauded Yesebu and said that the survival rate of the plants reflected the hard work Yesebu has put in.

Yesebu, 'Haritha Sainukudu' of Salkapur village is being felicitated by Irrigation Minister, T Harish Rao in Siddipet district on Monday.

Siddipet: Impressed by the work of a ‘Haritha Sainukudu’ (caretaker of Haritha Haram plants) Yesebu, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Monday presented him with Rs 2,000 after felicitating him at Salkapur village of Maddur mandal here.

The Minister took part in a host of programmes in Cheriyal and Maddur mandals and while he was on his way to attend a programme, Rao saw that all the saplings planted during Haritha Haram survived on both sides of the road at Salkapur. Following the instructions of the Minister, the officials called Yesebu for the felicitation by the Minister. Local MP Burra Narsaiah Goud also presented Yesebu Rs 1,000. The Minister lauded Yesebu and said that the survival rate of the plants reflected the hard work Yesebu has put in. Jangaon MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy and others were present.
