Hyderabad: The Mohd Azharuddin-led Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has come forward to offer the facility at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal, which could be used as a quarantine facility, if the need arises.

In a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the association members said that it is their moral obligation to help in this hour of crisis. ” We have 40 big rooms which can take care of some of the virus-affected patients. With lot of parking space, we feel it would be appropriate on our behalf to make this token gesture of appreciation of your efforts,” the letter said.

The HCA appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister while handling this crisis. “It is an undeniable fact that Telangana has been in the forefront and setting example for others to follow the measures to curb the menace on a war-footing by the way you as the Chief Minister have been taking the steps even before others could think off.’’
