Yadadri-Bhongir: The Minister for Health Dr C Laxma Reddy on Wednesday directed the officials concerned to take up measures to launch in patient services at Bibinagar NIMS Hospital.
On his way to Warangal, the Health Minister stopped at Bibinagar NIMS and inspected the ongoing construction works in the hospital. He examined the block of Gynecology, whose construction works were in progress.
Dr Laxma Reddy instructed the officials to speed up the construction works of blocks in Bibinagar NIMS. He also inquired the status of the construction works of different blocks on the premises of Bibinagar NIMS Campus.
Reminding that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao sanctioned doctors and medical staff posts for Bibinagar NIMS, he informed that process of recruitment of the sanctioned posts would be taken up soon. Arrangements would also be completed in NIMS, Bibinagar for launching in-patient services by the time of recruiting of sanctioned posts, he made it clear.
NIMS Director Dr Manohar thanked the Chief Minister for sanctioning posts for Bibinagar NIMS hospital.
Out-Patients Services were launched in Bibinagar NIMS hospital in March, 2016. Since March, 2016, outpatient facilities in general gynecology, surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics and general medicine were available to the people at Bibinagar NIMS.
Decks were cleared for launching of in-patient services at Bibinagar NIMS with approval by the State government for filling up of 873 posts for Bibinagar NIMS campus in two phases.
Bibinagar, which would come up in 155 acres at Bibinagar, would offer medical services in 21 specializations.
Bibinagar NIMS Hospital Superintendent Dr Maheshwar Reddy and others accompanied the Health Minister during his inspection.
