Cricket is the second most-followed sport in the world with more than 2.5 billion fans globally. With the IPL and ICC Cricket World Cup fast approaching, the cricketing community is looking into finding innovative ways to enjoy the sport.

Given that cricket is going to be the flavour of the season, Hitwicket is now set to launch a brand new game called Hitwicket Superstars.

This AI-powered game claims to drive up player engagement and retention. New features in the gaming industry such as streamable content, vernacular support, voice chat will be available. Stand-out feature of the game is that it will be the world’s first cricket game to introduce women cricketers.

Hitwicket has 2.1 million downloads across 100 plus countries. The game has had user engagement from all the cricket playing countries. The Hyderabad-based start-up was selected by the prestigious Google Game Accelerator – Asia programme in 2018 and was chosen to be amongst the Hi-growth potential gaming start-ups across Asia.
