Hyderabad: A great opportunity is knocking on the doors of those looking to construct their dream home or put together a commercial structure with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA)’s e-auctioning of 67 plots of different sizes in Uppal Bhagayath phase II.
The registrations for participating in the auction have commenced already. The auction is slated for April 7 and 8 and the last date for registration is April 3. People interested in participating in the e-auction have to pay Rs 1000 and 18 per cent GST as registration before 5 pm on April 3. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled at 11.30 am on March 25.
Unlike, the previous e-auctions, HMDA is now laying emphasis on the requirements of both individuals and builders as well. While there are plots ranging in 500 yards for those looking to construct their home, for those planning to construct commercial structures, there are plots from 2,000 to 8,000 square yards. The 67 plots are spread over 1.31 lakh square yards and the authorities are expecting to generate good revenues as the upset price is fixed at Rs 28,000 per square yard.
Since multi-purpose structures are permitted in the layout, builders can construct unlimited floor structures abutting the 30 metres width road, 15-floor structures next to 24 metres width road and 10 floor structures abutting the 18 metres width road. Given the proximity of the layout with multiple transportation options, residential and commercial activities, officials are expecting a good response from bidders.
The layout is close to Nagole Metro station abutting Uppal and LB Nagar Inner Ring Road and the upcoming Shilparamam market on the banks of Musi River is situated within the layout. More importantly, the layout is proposed for multi-purpose usage and the road grid of 18 metres, 24 metres and 30 metres with dual carriage way is provided facilitating construction of high rise structures.
