Try some easy ways to remove the oxidisation with ingredients from your kitchen

When any metal comes in contact with water and if left untended for a long period, then there are great chances of it developing rust, as the oxidation process starts very fast. It is really very saddening to see something useful or expensive in that condition but, this is not something to feel upset about. However, not to worry, as there are ways to salvage an item consumed by rust. Some of the ingredients to restore them to normal condition are available right in our kitchen.

Dash of vinegar

It is one of the natural cleansers which is easily available in stores as well at home. To remove rust from a small item, take some vinegar in a bowl and soak something that is rusted. For a good result, you have to leave it for a few hours before you scrub the item with a brush. Whereas, for the bigger items, you need to soak a rug and wrap it around the rusted area. It will take a little hard work but, the result is guaranteed.

Lime remedy

This is one more easy remedy to follow for good results. You just have to apply some salt on the rusted area and squeeze lemon juice on it. Leave it for a while and scrub it. If you find still find some rust, repeat the process.

Scrub with baking soda paste

A simple process to remove rust from metals of any size. One just needs to add adequate water to baking soda to make a paste. Then apply it on the rusted area and let it sit for a few hours. Later, scrub it off with a toothbrush and rinse it water and dry it with a cloth.
