Customers will now be able to work with the in-house designers and create their dream homes.

Hyderabad: HomeLane, an interior design brand, Thursday opened its second experience centre in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. With personalised interior designs created on Spacecraft, a design platform owned by HomeLane, customers are able to work with in-house designers and create their dream homes.

Srikanth Iyer, founder and CEO, HomeLane, said, “Hyderabad has been an extremely promising market for HomeLane and it is the second biggest city for us. The real estate boom in the city coupled with rapid urbanisation is enabling market expansion of the home interiors segment in the city.”

According to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (CREDAI), the Hyderabad real estate market has registered a 30 per cent increase in the residential sector. Policies such as Real Esate Regulation Act (RERA), single-window clearance, and reduced repo rates have contributed to the continual growth of the real estate industry in Hyderabad.

“Rise of IT companies and start-ups is consistently increasing the consumer base in the city thus augmenting the demand for smart modular interiors. In the next two years, we plan to invest Rs 15 crores to boost the interior design ecosystem in India” said Tanuj Choudhry, chief business officer and board member, HomeLane.

Backed by investors Sequoia and Accel Partners, HomeLane has already delivered over 4,500 projects in the last four years. With Hyderabad being the fourth largest real estate market in India, HomeLane’s new experience centre is expecting growth opportunities.
