The trend of bringing heroines from Bollywood is still in vogue. While it is easy to find young heroines for young heroes here, it is difficult to find heroines for senior actors in the industry. This has always been a problem and filmmakers from T’town are looking for heroines who are above 30 now.
The debate has arisen thanks to the casting issues being faced by one of the successful directors in recent times. He is said to be looking for a heroine who will look appropriate cast opposite one of the senior actors in Telugu film industry.
The director in question is Koratala Siva who is prepping for his next film with actor Chiranjeevi.
Previously, Kajal Aggarwal was roped in for Khaidi No 150 after a lot of discussions and debates. And this time too, after many discussions, it is said that the makers have zeroed in on Huma Qureshi who was introduced to the southern audience with Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala.
Since Anushka, Nayanthara, Kajal, Shriya Saran and others have already acted with Chiranjeevi, the script demanded a fresh face. Though this news hasn’t been confirmed by the filmmakers, it is said that Huma hasn’t given her nod for the film as yet.
