Nalgonda: Hungry kya? This question appeared to have been unequivocally answered by staff at two polling booths, both in Thungathurty constituency on Friday.

Even as large groups of people waited in lines for their turn to cast their votes, the staff at polling station no. 213 at Velugupally village and at polling station no 291 in BC colony, Tirumalgiri of Thungathurty constituency locked the doors of the polling stations and left for lunch.

People could be seen waiting impatiently for the staff to return so polling could be resumed and so they can go back home after casting their votes. Incidentally, at the Velugupally polling station, the door of the polling station was just bolted and not even locked leaving the voting equipment unguarded.
