Hyderabad: CBI notice to MBS jewelers

Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly issued notice to MBS jewelers Managing Director Sukesh Gupta for allegedly failing to appear before officials in a case related to Rs 194 crore losses caused to the Minerals and Metals Trading Corporation (MMTC) through alleged fraudulent transactions and deceitful conduct.

The CBI arrested Gupta and a senior manager of the MMTC for their alleged involvement in the fraud in 2013. However, Gupta was reportedly not appearing before the investigating officers citing that he was attending meetings in Dubai.
