Hyderabad: Governor Narasimhan holds talks with Nepal PM

Governor Narasimhan explained the Prime Minister of Nepal on various eGovernance initiatives implemented by the Telangana State government.

Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan hosted a dinner in honour of the visiting Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, his wife Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba and the entourage comprising 40 members at Taj Falaknuma Palace on Friday.

Later, Governor held one to one discussions with the Prime Minister of Nepal on various issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of Information Technology, eGovernance projects and other programmes implemented by the Telangana government.

He explained to the Prime Minister of Nepal on various eGovernance initiatives implemented by the State government, such as Mee seva citizen services, RTA services, CARD (Computer Aided Registration of Documents) project, Municipal services etc apart from important initiatives taken in implementing irrigation projects such as Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bagiradha and the tree plantation programme of ‘Haritha Haram’ to increase the green cover.

Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiyam Srihari, Md. Mahmood Ali, Members of Parliament, Dr. K. Kesava Rao, K. Kavitha, A.P. Jitender Reddy, K. Visweshwar Reddy, and other senior officers also attended the dinner.
