Hyderabad: Anil Rachamalla, founder of End Now Foundation, which works on Digital Safety, was conferred with the prestigious Karmaveer Chakra Award (Gold Medal) and Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship at the Rex Conclave held in New Delhi.
Anil Rachamalla is based in Hyderabad and is the only Gold Medal awardee from the Telugu States.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, Anil Rachamalla received the award for his innovative work on Advocacy on Digital Safety, advocating for better internet ethics and digital wellness to evoke responsible online behavioural patterns amongst women, children, and adolescents and make them grow up a change makers.
The Karmaveer Chakra Award is a National People’s Award for Citizen Social Action and a Global Civilian Honor instituted by the International Confederation of NgO (iCONGO) in partnership with the United Nations.
The award is a tribute to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam who who had offered to be the ambassador for the awards.
End Now Foundation works with Telangana police, Women Safety Wing, Ministry of IT, Saakshar Bharat, DSCI, Information Security Education Awareness, Cyber Security Centre of Excellence Telangana and has conducted many talks, workshops on the concept of Digital Wellbeing.
