Hyderabad paddler Snehit felicitated

The world No.26 in under-18 category, Snehit, is a first year student of BA, Mass Communication and Journalism. The management presented him with a cheque for Rs 25,000 on Thursday.

Hyderabad: Talented table tennis player S Fidel R Snehit was felicitated by his college St Joseph’s Degree and PG College for his recent achievements.

The world No.26 in under-18 category, Snehit, is a first year student of BA, Mass Communication and Journalism. The management presented him with a cheque for Rs 25,000 on Thursday.

“St Joseph’s College is in the forefront in promoting games and sports. We are very happy with Snehit’s international achievements. We wish him good luck,” the College Principal Rev Fr Prof Vincent Arokiadas said

Snehit won about dozen medals in various international tournaments in the last two years. Speaking at the function, Snehit said, “I am touched by the felicitation and blessings showered by the principal and the faculties. I’ll strive hard to bring laurels to the College in coming days.”
Snehit is going to Myanmar to represent India in Asian Junior Championships from August 13 to 18.
