Hyderabad Police home guard succumbs to Covid-19

Senior police officials offered condolences to his family and assured that the Police department would extend all possible help to the family.

Hyderabad: A home guard, Mohammed Asaduddin (56), working with the Hyderabad City Police passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment for Covid-19.

According to the police, Asaduddin, who was working at the Additional DCP’s office in the South Zone had tested positive for Covid-19 on June 28 and was under home quarantine. On Monday, due to complications he was shifted to Gandhi Hospital, where he passed away while under treatment on Tuesday morning.

Senior police officials offered condolences to his family and assured that the Police department would extend all possible help to the family.
