Hyderabad: Number three batsman Shreyas Vala scored a useful half-century (50) while the rest of the batsmen failed as Hyderabad were bowled out for 174 in their second innings and came back strongly to reduce Rajasthan to 35/3 as the match is heading towards a close finish on the third day of the Col CK Nayudu Trophy under-23 match at Gymkhana Grounds on Thursday.

Defending a target of 179, Hyderabad bowlers showed good intent as pacer S Praneet Raj grabbed two early wickets while T Krishnacharit dismissed Shiva Chauhan (10) in the last over of the day to keep the match hanging in balance.
