Hyderabad: Students seeking admissions into conventional degree courses through Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST) 2020 can now register using the T App Folio, a real-time digital face recognition system.

However, this service is applicable only for students who passed out from Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE).

For registering, candidates must download and install the T App Folio on their mobile phone, which contains DOST ID generation service. The students should seed in their BIE hall ticket number, date of birth, Aadhaar number and mobile number in the app. On verification of these details along with authentication of a live photograph (selfie photo) with photograph available with the TS BIE, a DOST ID is generated. Students can go in for the further process of registration and exercise of web options through the DOST online web portal https://dost.cgg.gov.in/.

Students can also register with DOST at the helpline centres or MeeSeva centres. A total of 60 Help Line Centres (HLCs) including one State HLC, six university HLCs, 33 district HLCs and 20 college HLCs.

Apart from registrations, these centres will help students in rectifying any mismatch with Aadhaar details and rectify any wrong uploading of certificates, TSCHE vice-chairman and DOST convener Prof. R Limbadri said.

Students whose Aadhaar number is already linked with a number can directly register on the DOST website with mobile OTP authentication. If a student’s mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar details, such student have to link his/her parent’s mobile number to their Aadhaar number.

In order to resolve issues of the candidates, an online grievance system has also been introduced. A WhatsApp Chatbot with number 7901002200 has been integrated with the DOST system. Apart from the DOST web portal, students can also receive updates through the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dost.telangana and Twitter: https://twitter.com/dost_telangana.
