ICFAI organises LexWalk

Students from various law colleges participating in the LexWalk organised by ICFAI Law School.

Hyderabad: The ICFAI Law School, a constituent of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad organised LexWalk, 5 km marathon walk to commemorate the ‘Constitution Day’ recently.

The walk which was flagged off by Justice U Durga Prasad Rao, Judge High Court of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road was attended by about 2,000 participants.

The event was organised to educate people about their constitutional rights and duties besides to promote three cardinal principles of democracy namely rule of law, independence of the Judiciary and independence of legal profession.

The programme was conducted jointly by the Associate Partners of Legal Services Authority of Telangana, Bar Council of Telangana & AP and Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
