Nirmal: Nirmal MLA and Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Sirpur legislator Koneru Konappa topped the third survey, carried out by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to assess performance of legislators, when compared to their counterparts of erstwhile Adilabad district, by securing over 70 per cent of marks on various parameters.
Indrakaran Reddy scored 74 per cent of marks and Konappa scored 71 per cent of marks. Significantly, the latter was appreciated by K Chandrashekhar Rao for his good performance. He won laurels for striving hard to develop his constituency and for being accessible to public.
Forest and Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna’s score could have improved, but lagged behind as Khanapur legislator A Rekha Naik, trailed even in the second survey. She recorded 64 per cent marks while Boath MLA R Bapu Rao improved his display by securing 62 per cent marks in the second assessment.
Chennur legislator and government whip Nallal Odelu registered 53 per cent marks, but his performance declined when compared to previous surveys. Mancherial MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao secured 51 per cent marks and needs to improve his display on many facets as indicated by the study.
Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah, Asifabad legislator Kova Laxmi and their counterpart from Mudhole Vittal Reddy exhibited a bad show. Though Chinnaiah, recorded 54 per cent marks, could not surpass his previous performance. Marks of Vittal Reddy was not disclosed.
