Inter supplementary exams cancelled in Telangana

All students who failed in the second-year Intermediate Public Examinations March 2020 will now be declared passed

Hyderabad: In view of the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday decided to cancel the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations.

The Chief Minister has taken the decision to cancel the Intermediate Advanced Supplementary exams due to coronavirus outbreak and keeping students health in view, Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said on Thursday.

All students who failed in the second-year Intermediate Public Examinations March 2020 will now be declared passed. However, these students will be passed under compartmental. A total of 1.47 lakh students will benefit from this decision, the Education Minister said.

Students can collect their marks from their respective junior colleges after July 31. The results of students who registered for re-counting or re-verification will be announced after 10 days, the Education Minister added.
