Yadadri-Bhongir: Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Friday announced that Rs 50,000 to Rs 3 lakh interest free loan would be provided to women of Self Help Groups(SHGs), who voluntarily participate in the 30-day action plan for the development of villages.
Participating in the Gram Sabha of Musaipet in Yadagirigutta organised as a part of the 30-day action plan, Dayaker Rao said that the interest free loans to women who participate in 30-day action plan would be launched from Musaipet village in the district. The loan amount would be waived if the women dies of any cause. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has accepted the proposal in this regard, the Minister said.
He also assured that he would convince the Chief Minister and sanction additional funds to the village which implements the 30-day action plan successfully. The Chief Minister has taken up 30-days action plan programme to involve the people in the development of their villages. Stating that grave yards would be constructed at all the village, he said that the Grama Panchayats should identify the land for this purpose.
He said that members of standing committees have great responsibility to make the implementation of 30-day action plan a success. Awareness was increased ion the people as they were not throwing the garbage onto the roads and avoiding open defecation. The people were also voluntarily participating in the plantation of saplings, which was improving the greenery in villages. Earlier, the Minister participated in a special pooja programme at Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple (Balalayam). Government Whip and Alair MLA Gongidi Sunitha, district Collector Anitha Ramachandran and Zilla Parishad Chairman Alimineti Sandeep Reddy was also present.
