IT companies in Warangal use thermal scanners

Warangal Urban: With Covid-19 cases on the rise in Telangana State,  precautionary measures are being taken by the security personnel at the noted IT company, Cyient, at Madikonda IT SEZ on the outskirts of the city.

As a part of this, the security personnel are screening the employees using the hand held thermal scanning device before allowing the employees into the office. “We are also asking our employees to use the sanitisers to clean the hands. We are following these instructions as per the head office directions,” said the security officer at Cyient.

There are nearly 150 employees are working at the Cyient unit at Madikonda. “Identification of seven Indonesians who were infected with the virus in Karimnagar is scaring everyone,” he added. Meanwhile, several 10 th class students, who appeared for the board exam, on Thursday, were seen wearing either masks or the kerchiefs. On the other hand, the Thousand Pillar temple and Fort Warangal, which are popular tourists places in the city, wore deserted look as the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) announced shut down of all the monuments under its jurisdiction till March 31.
