Ahead of its release, actor Nani’s Jersey is making quite a wave in the tinsel town given its hype and buzz on social media following the release of the trailer. Kannada actor Shraddha Srinath is being introduced to Telugu audience through Jersey.

Raised in Hyderabad during her childhood, Shraddha forayed into Tamil and Kannada film industries after her family got settled in Bengaluru. She plays Sara in Jersey opposite Nani in the emotional cricket drama which is being directed by Gautam Tinnanuri.

Excited about the movie, Shraddha says that the beautiful emotions in the script made her accept the film right away. “Very rarely does a heroine get to act in such a strong role which showcases two different phases of life. Jersey is a film with honest emotions which everyone will relate to easily,” says Shraddha.

On working with Nani, Shraddha said she has high regard for the Natural Star. “Not once during the shoot Nani got irritated with my takes or language, and always encouraged me through the film. The film runs on our chemistry, and Nani and I have riveting roles in Jersey.

We play young lovers, mad about each other, and, then, turn husband and wife who fight all the time which is so full of emotions to see on-screen,” she says.

Finally, Shraddha says that another reason behind her accepting the film was the entire team. Her producers, director Gautam, Anirudh have made the film in such a beautiful slice-of-life manner that many will connect to the emotions of Sara and Arjun at once.
