Adilabad: Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna said statements of Indrasena Reddy and other BJP leaders were like devils reading the scriptures.

Speaking to the media here on Friday, Ramanna ridiculed the BJP stating that it could not even win three of the 119 Assembly constituencies in the recent elections, which indicated the rejection of the party by people, he said and suggested the BJP not to field candidates in the coming Lok Sabha elections.

The legislator warned of dire consequences for levelling baseless allegations against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and leaders of the TRS. The BJP could not create 2 lakh jobs against two crore mentioned in its 2014 manifesto. But, the TRS government had provided 95,000 jobs in its maiden term.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi duped electors by promising to deposit Rs 15 lakh in every citizen’s bank account besides causing several hardships to citizens with note ban. But Chandhrashekhar Rao treats manifesto as Bhagavadgeeta, Quran and Bible, he said.

The former Forest Minister sought graduates to cast first preference votes to the candidature of M Chandrasekhar Goud in MLC elections. He alleged that some local BJP leaders encroached lands and deceived the poor and said the public was aware of their wrongdoings.
