Vijayawada: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas has alleged that the BJP-led Central government cheated Andhra Pradesh once again by declaring that the Kadapa steel plant is unviable and wondered why the YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy failed to react to the injustice done to Kadapa district in the matter.

Talking to media persons here on Thursday, Kesineni remarked that Jaganmohan Reddy was continuing his drama though BJP did not fulfill the bifurcation assurances and he colluded with BJP to get rid of his ED cases.

The YSRC MPs should extend cooperation to TDP to achieve steel plant for Kadapa, he stated.

The MP demanded sanctioning of Visakhapatnam railway zone and fulfilling the State bifurcation assurances if the BJP was sincere in developing Andhra Pradesh.

The BJP leaders resorted to false campaign on Polavaram project though project works were going on at a brisk pace.

Kesineni recalled that the Modi promised employment to one crore people but failed to fulfill it. Corruption had increased during present BJP regime and the banking sector had collapsed with people losing confidence in it.

The Centre also could not unearth black money and people were suffering due to sky-rocketing petrol prices, he noted.

He wanted the BJP leaders to bring pressure on the Centre for fulfillment of the bifurcation assurances instead of mudslinging against the TDP government.
