Kavitha assures to resolve issues of market yard workers across Telangana

Kavitha said that at various market yards, hamalis, dadwais, chata workers and gumastas are facing several issues and that the government will take up these issues with marketing officials and Collectors.

Nizamabad: Inaugurating a new wholesale vegetable market at Nizamabad Agriculture Market Yard, along with Nizamabad (Urban) MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta and market yard chairperson Kulachari Divya Dinesh, Nizamabad MP Kavitha said that the State government will solve all issues of hamalis, dadwais and chata workers at various market yards across the State.

Kavitha said that at various market yards, hamalis, dadwais, chata workers and gumastas are facing several issues and that the government will take up these issues with marketing officials and Collectors. She said that Telangana has nearly 21,000 hamalis and other workers.

Kavitha and MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta distributed clothes to 900 hamalis and their wives. Kavitha later served food to the workers and their family members and ate the food along with workers and local public representatives. After that, hamalis and workers association members felicitated MP Kavitha and MLA Bigala. Nizamabad Mayor Aakula Sujatha, ZP vice-chairperson Sumana Reddy, REDCO chairman S A Aleem, municipal corporators Sumana Reddy and market yard directors participated.
