KCR greets civil servants

The Chief Minister conveying his best wishes expressed the hope that they would rededicate themselves to the task of achieving “Bangaru Telangana”.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday conveyed his greetings to all civil servants in the State on the occasion of the Civil Services Day to be celebrated all over the country on Friday in recognition of their outstanding work in serving the people.

The Chief Minister conveying his best wishes expressed the hope that they would rededicate themselves to the task of achieving “Bangaru Telangana”.

The Chief Minister said that civil service has a key role to play in achieving the task of inclusive growth for all sections of the society as well as in policy formulation and effective implementation.

“After the formation of the State of Telangana, the Civil Services played a critical role in ensuring smooth transition of the new State and in reorienting policies to cater to the needs of the people of the State,” he said.

Rao also cited the example of Civil Servants role in ensuring the successful implementation of districts reorganisation process to bring administration closer to the public.
