KCR has soft corner for Dubbak: Harish

Points out the special grant of Rs 35 crore released by the Chief Minister for the development of constituency

The integrated market built with an outlay of Rs 80 lakh in Dubbak Municipality was inaugurated by Finance Minister T Harish Rao, on Wednesday.

Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has a soft corner for Dubbak.

Pointing out that the Chief Minister had released a special grant of Rs 35 crores for the development of Dubbak constituency, Harish Rao said the government will soon provide irrigation water to 1.35 lakh acres with the completion of Mallanna Sagar project. Part of the constituency is already benefiting from Kondapochamma Sagar canal, Harish said, adding that Godavari water will be supplied to Dubbak constituency from 2021 Vanakalam onwards.

Stating that the Kaleshwram project works under Dubbak are nearing completion, Harish said that they will complete the works in seven months time.

Harish, who inaugurated integrated market, built with an outlay of Rs 80 lakhs and ultra modern twin toilets, built with a budget of Rs 10 lakhs in Dubbak Municipality, here on Wednesday, said they will develop Dubbak Assembly Constituency on par with Siddipet, which is known as a model for development. He also laid foundation for construction of drainge in Dubbak town with an outlay of Rs 80 lakhs.

Saying that he will treat Dubbak and Siddpet as his eyes, Harish said that he will look after the development of Dubbak. He has said that the construction of 800 double bedroom houses is nearing completion and the building for school cum college, constructed with an outlay of Rs 15 crore, was completed.

The Minister also inaugurated a 132 KV sub-station in at Chittojipally in Chegunta Mandal. He has examined the progress of Kondapochamma canals.
